Houston County’s Hill takes national honor
Quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. of Houston County was named the offensive player of the year by the Navy All-American Bowl.
He was named Friday night at the bowl’s awards show in San Antonio, Texas. The Memphis signee completed 253 of 396 passes for 3,372 yards, 44 touchdowns, and six interceptions for the Bears in 2024.
Hill will compete in the bowl game on Saturday at 2 p.m. on NBC and Peacock.
